My name is Alastair Benton. I have been involved in education for twenty years including driver instruction since 2006, being a full DSA approved driving instructor (ADI).

I am based in Selston, Nottinghamshire, and cover the surrounding area, including Eastwood, Hucknall, Alfreton and Sutton. The car I currently use is a Toyota ‘Yaris’ which has good visibility, is a comfortable size and is a good drive for learners. Having a diesel engine, the ‘Yaris’ has low CO2 emissions.

I try to remain relaxed but firm in my teaching, and aim to teach a skill for life rather than merely how to pass the test. I consider myself to be supportive and am flexible to meet the needs and experience of my pupils.
